Accessibility (ADA) Statement
Last updated: August 2026
Want To Play Pickleball is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including players with disabilities.
Our commitment
Pickleball is for everyone, and so is our site. We work to make content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for players using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.
Standards we aim for
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our guide. Accessibility is ongoing work: as we add features, we review color contrast, keyboard focus, semantic headings, form labels, and alternative text for images.
What we do today
- Semantic headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate pages
- Labeled form fields and buttons with accessible names
- Keyboard-operable menus, dialogs, and filters with visible focus
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and icons
- Responsive layouts that support zoom and small screens
Known limitations
Some content comes from third parties — such as embedded maps, weather data, and news feeds — and we do not control their accessibility. We are also continuously improving newer areas of the site.
Court accessibility
Court listings are contributed by players and facilities. Accessibility details such as parking, restrooms, ramps, or surface conditions may be incomplete or out of date. Please contact the facility directly to confirm, and let us know so we can correct a listing.
Report a barrier
If you run into an accessibility barrier, tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you were using. We take these reports seriously and aim to respond within 1–2 business days.
